Summary

Tess had written 12 books in a series called The Willow Grove Knitting Society. She made a good living, but she took twelve compensated speaking engagements a year in order to fund her retirement savings. She did not like to fly, and disliked staying in motels, plus her cat, Fritzy, hated being left alone, so she only spoke at events she could drive to with just a single overnight stay in a motel.
