Summary

In Chapter 59, when Mia told Lupe she had not won the contest, Lupe admitted she was glad that Mia was not going. She said that she did not want to stay on the roller coaster by herself. In class later that day, the teacher called Mia to the front of the room and asked her to read her story out loud because it was so good. When Mia was finished, there was silence, and then the students began clapping. Mrs. Douglas gave Mia a Pizza Hut coupon for writing such a good story.
