Summary

In Chapter 32, the popular girls were excited when Mia was put their team to answer a math challenge. They believed Mia was good at math because she was Chinese. The question asked how much a motel owner would charge to rent a room for two hours if he charged $30 a night. Based on real-world experience, Mia insisted the answer was $30 because hotels did not give a discount. Her teammates were angry when the teacher said that answer was wrong. Mia wondered if she looked like the other students if she would be accepted even though she had gotten the answer wrong.
