Chapter 110 Summary

Evelyn visits Mrs. Threadgoode on October 9. 1986. Ninny tells her about the trial and the not guilty verdict. Evelyn asks who killed Frank, but Ninny doesn't know. It could have been Smokey, Eva, a member of the Dill Pickle Club or Ruth. She does know that Idgie would have died before letting Ruth be suspected of the murder. Only Frank Bennett knows and, "dead men tell no tales."

Chapter 110 Analysis

The theme of love is seen in this chapter. Idgie doesn't know who killed Frank. No one does but the murderer and Frank. Her love for Ruth was so strong; she would have taken the blame herself, rather than let Ruth be blamed for the murder.
