On March 25, 1940, Idgie comes into Stump's room and tells him that Mr. Pinto's body will be changing trains in Whistle Stop. He wants to see and she tells him to go down there at 6:30 in the morning, but not to tell anyone because the whole town will show up. He tells Peggy Hadley and they meet in the morning.
