Chapters 21-25 Summary

In Chapter 21, Friday calls the Boss' bank and manages to talk to a human being. Friday gets an appointment with a law firm in the credit card building. She is picked up by Goldie in a taxicab. Goldie tells Friday that she has been reported dead. Friday is taken to the Boss' office. The Boss chastises Friday for taking so long to get to him. The Boss finally admits that it was his fault.

Friday learns that the Boss has been keeping track of her through various contacts including Anita and Brian. Janet and Ian were about to be arrested when the Boss stepped in to help them escape. Ian's fingerprints were found in the police APV that crashed near Fargo. Friday admits to killing Lt. Dickey.
