Chapter 15 Summary

The last place Stephanie and her crew go to is a bar that is frequented by gays and cross dressers. Stephanie learns that Sugar is there when she speaks to the bartender. Stephanie puts everyone on alert and then begins to search the large bar. When Stephanie has trouble finding Sugar, she slips off to the bathroom. Sugar follows her inside. Sugar pulls a gun and marches Stephanie out to the alley. Sugar tries to shoot Stephanie, but is unaccustomed to the gun. Sugar's hesitation gives Stephanie time to hide behind a Dumpster. Stephanie then runs away, heading toward an assisted living center next door where she thinks there is a night guard on duty. However, there is no longer a guard employed. Stephanie and Sugar fight on the floor of the community.....
