Chapters 13-14 Summary

While Morelli and Stephanie are discussing the counterfeiting case, Sally shows up. Sally and Sugar had a fight where Sugar threatened to kill Sally. Sally reveals that he stole Sugar's diary in which he wrote about his anger toward Stephanie and his attempts to kill her. Morelli tells Sally he can move in, but Morelli does not want Stephanie or Sally to actually stay in his house, but to pretend to while hiding at Stephanie's parents' house. Morelli hopes that this arrangement will draw Sugar out into the open. The next morning Morelli tells Stephanie that the police have found Kuntz's car abandoned at the Farmer's Market. Morelli leaves to check it out while Stephanie and Sally go to the hair salon. Afterward, Stephanie and Sally go to Kuntz's duplex to speak to.....
