Part 3, Chapter 7 Summary

When Dominique returns from Reno, Wynand is waiting at the train station. He tells her that they are getting a marriage license and then going to a judge, but she wants a real wedding. He checks her into a hotel, and after a week, they are married at the Noyes-Belmont Hotel with an audience of 600 people. Dominique thinks of Roark when she sees Wynand's discomfort in the public atmosphere. Wynand has disallowed photographers, and afterwards Dominique thanks him. In bed, she finds that against her will she responds to the powerful force within him.

Wynand is getting bad publicity for marrying Dominique, particularly since his own papers won't write about it. Toohey has been writing for another paper,.....
