Part 2, Chapter 6 Summary

Enright is an individualist, like Roark, depending only on himself. He hires Roark immediately after a brief interview, firing the secretary who previously rejected Roark. Roark reestablishes his architecture business, hiring assistants who dislike him. He does not try to find Dominique, preferring to let her stew as she waits for him. Joel Sutton is a potential client who goes to Roark because he knows and trusts Enright. They meet, but Sutton, who is easily influenced by others, does not hire Roark immediately. Austen Heller takes Roark to a party given by Kiki Holcombe, a vacant but charming woman who always follows what's popular.
