Part 1, Chapter 9 Summary

Finally, Roark finds work with the eccentric John Erik Snyte. Snyte has five diverse designers working in different historical styles. Roark is hired to play the role of Mr. Modernistic, the modern thinker. The designers each work on a project separately, and then Snyte chooses one plan and modifies it with the other plans to come up with the design.
