Gaia

Gaia is a planet of a single consciousness. Travize selected the planet as the home for his own people, but began to question the decision because of the single consciousness. There were no written records of Gaia. All history was kept in a single consciousness shared by every person, animal and inanimate objects of the planet. The deepest history, including that of "dead data" seldom needed by another member of Gaia, is typically stored in rocks, mountains, oceans and the like.
