Earth - The Search Ends Summary

The "grounds" underground that are inhabited by Daneel are evidently extensive. Trevize, Pelorat and Daneel are seated under a tree while Bliss and Fallom go off exploring. Pelorat recalls stories of a robot named Daneel and asks if this robot is named in his honor. Daneel says he is that robot and is some twenty thousand years old. Daneel explains that artificial gravity is created on the moon much as on the Far Star or any other space ship. He says there is a vast ecosystem on the moon, but the only inhabitants are robotic.
