Solaria - Underground Summary

When Bander asks Trevize if he believes in sorcery, Trevize answers, "No, we do not, little Solaria." Bliss immediately cautions Trevize not to anger Bander because it is dangerous. Trevize asks how Bander took his weapons, but Bander doesn't answer. It does ask them to follow. Bander calls Bliss the "feminine half-human," and "the lesser half." Under questioning from Bander, Pelorat says that he is fifty-two years old and will likely live another thirty years. Bander says that his ancestors settled fifty worlds. When Trevize says the fifty are nothing compared with the many settled since then, Bander says quality counts and the fifty originally settled are more important than all the others.
