Summary

In Chapter 29, Falk and Carmen went to Lauren’s room, but she was not there. Falk suspected that she had headed into the bush, and Carmen told him to go and that she would find King and catch up to them. The chapter broke and turned to Lauren’s perspective of Sunday morning. Alice told her that she had to get back because Margot needed her. Lauren snapped that Margot was a terrible and mean girl, just like Alice. Lauren claimed that Margot had been involved with the bullying that had led to Rebecca’s eating disorder and to her dropping out of school.
