Chapter 13-15 Summary

Chapter 13 - Ozymandias and Parry continue reorganizing Hell. Parry visits Lucifer several times, finally urging Lucifer to give up his previous claims and serve him. Lucifer is assigned to watch for Niobe. Lucifer, however, attempts to have a demon kill Niobe after she is born in Ireland, but fails, killing the wrong person. It turns out that Niobe's husband took her place, for he was a magician, and gave his life for hers. Lucifer is promptly fired and Parry himself goes to see about Niobe and her infant baby. Other than her being incredibly beautiful, he sees no reason why she should mean his defeat. He assigns Mephistopheles to watch her and find out more about her.

While on a funeral boat, Niobe sets it on fire, and though not dead, Thanatos brings her to his mansion to tend to her wounds. She then arranges...
