Summary

As Jason and Kathy walk away from the restaurant, Kathy says that she feels she is falling in love with Jason. Jason says that he never wants to see Kathy again and he runs away. He finds a phone booth and calls Heather, but she has no memory of him. Jason recites things that only he knows about Heather, but this merely makes Heather think that Jason is a stalker. Jason explains his entire situation, and Heather, fearing police surveillance, hangs up. Jason walks away and is soon stopped at a police checkpoint. The police ask to see his ID cards. In Chapter 6, Jason hands over the forged ID cards, and they are authentic enough to fool the police. As Jason walks away, he is intercepted by Kathy. Kathy hopes that Jason is now grateful towards her now that the quality of the forged...
