Unnamed narrator

The narrator is the main character throughout the novel. She is the alter-ego of the writer, the person who begins the novel with her discovery of herself and her nomadic nature at the beginning, and continues sometimes as an omniscient voice, most often as the protagonist or detached observer.

Kunicki

Kunicki is a married man in the vignettes of the “Kunicki” series. His family disappears while they are on an island vacation, and he desperately searches for them with the help of the locals who reside one the island. He is a recurrent character.
