Part 2: Chapters 9-17 Summary

After Orval is shot, Teasle's men again begin to panic, afraid that Rambo will come up the hill behind them. Then Teasle becomes aware that Orval is not dead. Teasle drags Orval to safety and tries to treat his wound, but knows it is too bad to do any good. They call for help over the radio, but there is a storm coming and the state police will not allow any helicopters to fly. It is then that Teasle and his deputies learn that Rambo is a Green Beret who was awarded the Medal of Honor.

As it begins to rain heavily, Teasle quickly realizes that they are sitting in a dangerous place as the water from the rain would rush down the rise behind them and wash them all over the cliff. Teasle orders the men to move...
