Summary

The first thirteen years of Aegon the Conqueror’s rule was marked with war and strife throughout Westeros. In the Bite, the Sutherlands declared their Lady a queen until Visenya arrived on her dragon. On the Iron Islands, several contenders vied to be their own king, including Lodos, who said he was son of the Drowned God. When Aegon arrived on his dragon and conquered the islands, Lodos prayed for the krakens to rise up and kill the dragon. When they did not, he walked into the sea with rocks in his pockets and thousands of his followers came with him. Aegon allowed the Ironborn to chose their own warden, and they selected Vickon Greyjoy, who swore fealty to Aegon.

Dorne was the only kingdom in the south that had not submitted to Aegon, so...
