Summary

In November 2012, Michelle figured out that Castro wasn’t working. He admitted to her that he got fired. Now she was assaulted at all hours of the day and night. Michelle was depressed. Christmas was coming; it would be her eleventh Christmas there. Joey would be thirteen. She probably wouldn’t even recognize him. Adding to her depression, Michelle was three-months pregnant. Castro seemed to enjoy her misery and relish the fact that she was missing her son. Castro did his best to make Michelle feel she wasn’t part of his Jocelyn’s birthday party which was on Christmas Eve. He told her to sit on the steps and watch from there.
