Summary

It seemed that overnight Jocelyn became a toddler. Castro didn’t confine her in any way. She went from Amanda’s room to see Michelle and Gina as she liked. Michelle watched the baby when Amanda was downstairs with Castro or was taking a shower. He was allowing the girls to take a weekly shower. During her first year there, Michelle had had only one shower. When Jocelyn started to talk, Castro gave Michelle and Gina different names. He didn’t want her to know their real names. Michelle responded that they’d make up the names they wanted her to call them. Michelle picked “JuJu” because she liked Jujubes candy and Gina picked Chelsea.
