Summary

In early 2004, Castro began referring to Amanda as his wife. He began spending a lot of time downstairs with her. When they were downstairs in the kitchen, he had Amanda sit with him at the table. He had Michelle come in the backyard with him to work but it usually wound up in rape in broad daylight. He once told Michelle that he might make her his second wife. He began feeding Michelle and Gina less. Sometimes a whole day would go by without food. He stopped giving Michelle and Gina notebooks to draw and write on.
