Summary

Castro dragged Michelle to a first floor door. He unlocked the padlock on the door that led downstairs to the basement. Michelle was scared to death. He shoved her down the last few steps; she landed on a big pile of dirty laundry. The basement smelled and was in as much disarray as the rest of the house. Michelle noticed rusted chains that were strewn all about. No natural light came through the narrow basement windows which were covered in filth. He bound Michelle’s hand with plastic handcuffs securing them with twist ties. He then chained Michelle to a pole, wrapping her with an eight-foot length chain from head to toe. He stuffed her mouth with a sock again. He violently slammed a motorcycle helmet on her head. Michelle passed out.
