Summary

Michelle’s mother re-enrolled her in school. She was sixteen and initially placed in the seventh grade, but she took a test and was move up to the ninth grade. Michelle didn’t do well in school and was often absent. There were about fifteen members of the extended family living at the house including the man who had abused her.
