War

The main conflict of this novel revolves around the Nephilim desire to break free of their oaths of fealty to the fallen angels, preventing them from being possessed during Cheshvan each year. Hank Millar thought the only way to stop the fallen angels would be to go to war. To this end, he raised a large army and convinced the Nephilim people of the need for war. Even after Hank Millar's death, Nephilim are still planning war.

Nora wants peace. Nora's boyfriend is a fallen angel and he has convinced her that there has to be a way in which the Nephilim and the fallen angels can live in peaceful harmony.
