Chapters 2 Summary

The four housemates and Claire's parents go to an all-night diner in Morganville for hamburgers. Claire feels a need to warn the other human students about the dangers lurking in this city of vampires, but the bracelet on her wrist reminds her of her loyalty to Amelie. Michael is described as having a soothing presence that makes everything seem normal, despite all the traumatic events that have just happened. Claire's parents seem a bit numbed by the whole scene involving Mr. Bishop and his entourage.
