Summary and Analysis For Chapters 73-89 Summary

In Chapter 73, the two young men step outside the restaurant, and Troy is amazed at what he has just realized. He sees everything differently now. He turns to talk with Curt and discovers that his friend is passed out at his feet.

In Chapter 74, Troy's first reaction is to panic. He tries to wake up his friend, and someone nearby calls 911. A jogger gives Troy some water to splash on his friend's face. The water wakes up Curt and a bottle of NyQuil rolls out of his shirt onto the sidewalk.

In Chapter 75, Curt is very groggy and Troy decides to take him to the hospital even though his friend doesn't want to go there. He doesn't have insurance.
