Summary

In Chapter 34, Wren and Cath are headed to Cath’s dorm room, arguing about a detail in a Simon story when Cath sees Nick standing outside her door. She is angry with him and chooses not to go any closer. Reagan has opened the door asking if Nick belongs to Cath. She had told him to wait outside. Reagan nor Wren know what happened between Nick and Cath, they only know she won’t talk about him any longer. He tells her the story they wrote together, which he calls “his” story, has been chosen for publication in the college’s literary journal. However, Professor Piper knows that Cath contributed to the story. She won’t let it go in the journal unless Cath’s name appears on it as well.
