Chapter 6 Summary

Nariman settles in at Roxana's. Roxana cleans up. She uses what water can be spared to give him a sponge bath. Jehangir feeds him from a bowl that Nariman is not able to handle himself. Roxana observes the tender way Jehangir looks after his grandfather. She has to swallow hard to keep from crying. After the meal is finished - with two aeroplane maneuvers for the last two spoonfuls - Nariman asks what's next. He says he will be pleased to help Jehangir with his homework. Jehangir says homework is not on his agenda, but Nariman persuades him. Jehangir reads to Nariman from an Enid Blyton book he is reading.
