Summary

Lianne realizes that the Alzheimer’s group will soon cease, as several of the group members have begun to lose their memories. Lianne decides that she will not do another group. After spending time with Florence, Keith picks up Justin from school. Keith tries to converse with Justin, but Justin is somewhat antagonistic towards his father. Keith considers telling Lianne about his relationship with Florence. He imagines various reactions that Lianne may have to the news. Lianne walks aimlessly through the streets after her group, and she sees a man standing on a high window ledge near an elevated public transit train. She realizes that it is a notorious performance artist know as Falling Man, who jumps from high buildings and is caught by a tether.
