Summary

“The last gay orgy of the spring season,” narration, comments, “was held at the home of Garfield Toye” (103), a faggot whose time with butch lesbian Nancellen had been taken over by Nancellen’s new girlfriend and who had decided to fill that time with an orgy. A few phone calls later, people start arriving. Among those people: The Winston Man and Winnie Heinz, who, “from across a crowded room, fell in love with Timmy Purvis” (105). Winnie is upset when he sees Timmy taken into a bedroom by another man (where, narration reveals, Timmy has his first experiences with drugs and with male-male sex), but then goes into that room and finds Timmy more than willing to have sex with him.
