Summary

Chapter 5 is titled “Journal of Secrets.” During their punishment time in the attic, Seth discovers a keyhole under the belly of a rocking horse. Kendra has found what two of the keys fit by this point, and the final one fits the keyhole in the rocking horse. As has been the case each time, the delicious chocolates are inside along with another tiny key. This one opens the final lock on the book titled “Journal of Secrets.” She shares the chocolates with Seth and is disappointed to find the journal seems to be empty.
