Eveleth “Evvie” Drake

Evvie is a young woman living in the small town of Calcasset, Maine. She is recently widowed after Tim, her husband and high school sweetheart, dies in a car accident. She struggles with coping with Tim’s death for the next year mainly because she does not miss or love him. She feels that Tim was cruel to her throughout their relationship. She was planning on leaving him on the night that he died. This leaves her with a sense of guilt and so she feels compelled to continue acting as though she grieves her husband and hides her true feelings from even her closest friend Andy and her father.
