Jonathan Safran Foer

Jonathan Safran Foer came to the Ukraine in order to search for the woman whose family saved his grandfather during World War II. Jonathan's grandfather died just weeks after arriving in America, so Jonathan never knew him. However, Jonathan's grandmother kept a picture of her husband with this woman and her family for more than fifty years. Recently Jonathan's grandmother gave the picture to his mother.
