Chapters 28 - 34 Summary

In Chapter 28, Aunt Jodi brings Lucky and Lori to an old gold mine, now a tourist attraction. While they are there, Lucky asks his mom if she is okay to go back to Pennsylvania. She says she is ready, and that the entire trip was mainly about her getting away. Lucky says that Dave has taught him a lot of stuff, and he feels better. They both agree Jodi has redeeming qualities. The day, and the week, both wind down. Lucky is looking forward to Friday, not only to leave, but to see Ginny again.
