Chapters 14 and 15 Summary

In chapter fourteen, Bianca and Lucas talk and she apologizes again for having lied to him when she bit him the first time. He says he understands why it's so easy to forget. Bianca wakes the following morning with heightened senses again. She soon discovers that Lucas is feeling ill and Vic wants him to see a doctor but Lucas refuses. Lucas says it can't be the result of Bianca biting him because he didn't feel that way after the first bite. Bianca repeats what her parents have told her about it taking multiple bites for a victim to turn into a vampire. Lucas is immediately on alert, saying he isn't dead and that he doesn't want to become a vampire. He is furious that Bianca doesn't have answers but realizes Bianca's parents have taught her about her own metamorphosis, but...
