Summary

In Chapter 45, Lemoncello allows Haley to join Kyle’s team. He asks Charles if he’d like to join the team as well, but Charles declines. He comments that even though Haley knows all of the same information he does at this point, he doesn’t think she knows what any of it means. This seems to irritate Lemoncello. Charles indicates the comment was meant as a joke, but Lemoncello brushes off the explanation. He gives Charles extra clues hidden in an envelope to compensate for his teammates leaving him. Lemoncello offers to answer one question for Charles out loud. He specifies only that the question can’t be how to get out of the library, as he doesn’t know the answer.
