Arya's Test Summary

Eragon wakes ready to be tested. The practice grounds are a mile away from Tronjheim, and Eragon flies Saphira to the busy grounds. There are mock battles taking place, and arrows flying and soldiers drilling. A man in charge of the practice area asks Eragon about which weapons Eragon prefers and tells him that magic is not used on the practice grounds. They are practicing for skill and endurance in preparation for battles that may last days or weeks.

Before Eragon begins, the Twins interfere and say that he must be tested in magic before being tested on the practice battlefield.
