The Hadarac Desert Summary

Eragon and Murtagh arrive with their horses and Saphira at the vast Hadarac Desert. They notice immediately that there is brush growing in bunches that will provide enough food for the horses. The heat makes Eragon weary, and he wishes he had leisure time to fly with Saphira, who immediately likes the desert.

Eragon reminds Murtagh that soldiers will still be looking for them. Murtagh hopes that their trail was lost after crossing the Ramr River. On their stop, Eragon draws water from the earth, and the horses and Saphira drink gallons. They awake the next day and carp at each other, Eragon is eager to cross the small section of Hadarac Desert. Eragon goes to talk to the elf, asking her how she can still live even while she is in perpetual.....
