Thieves in the Castle Summary

Upon waking, Eragon prepares for their trip to Teirm's government castle. Jeod, Brom, and he make their way to the castle. On their way, Eragon senses a presence that he dismisses. When they arrive, the guard asks them what they need. Jeod lies to the guard, and they are admitted to a small room that contains a large pile of scrolls.

Brom instructs Eragon to begin at the top of the pile of scrolls and work his way to the bottom. They are looking for information about the shipping of Seithr oil, the liquid they had found in the canister that brought them to Teirm. As he examines the scrolls, Eragon feels his neck prickle, and he looks up a moment later to see a small boy sitting crouched on the windowsill. It is the werecat, Solembum...
