Summary

In Chapter 36: Swordplay, Byx is excited to be traveling because of all the things she gets to learn. They travel by night and sleep during the day and spend extra time getting around Murdano blockades. One night, Khara returns with a sword, knife, sandals, and bloodstains on her shirt. On another day, Khara calls Luca and Byx and, giving Byx the long knife she says she is going to teach them how to use the weapons. She teaches Luca first, teaching him a downward strike and blocks it herself. Then, she teaches Byx how to use her smaller stature against enemies by diving through their legs and cutting the opponent’s thigh.
