Chapter 5 Summary

Morgan arrives at Hunter's house, assuring him that nothing else has happened, and he promises her that they will be ready to battle Ciaran together. When Hunter starts talking about what Daniel has found in Rose's book and his work on the spell to defeat dark waves, Daniel objects to talking to Ciaran's daughter about this, so Hunter insists that Morgan is not in league with Ciaran and has even endangered herself in her efforts to capture her father. Backing down, Daniel explains the spell to cast dark waves works by creating an artificial opening between the two worlds and calling on dark spirits from the netherworld to enter this world, forming a dark wave of negative energy to destroy positive energy.
