Section 10: Chapter 17 & 18 Summary

Jacqueline dreads going to the Brotherhood Bash in Chapter 17, but Erin succeeds in her plan to make Chaz jealous. While she dances with Kennedy, Buck asks her to dance, and when she insists that no means no, Kennedy asks why she is so angry at Buck, leading Jacqueline to confide about Buck's attacks. Erin and Jacqueline watch as Kennedy talks to Buck in the parking lot. In Chapter 18, Jacqueline learns that Buck raped another girl, Mindi, after the Brotherhood Bash, and feeling guilty for not filing a report when he attacked her, she promises Mindi that she will also press charges so that Mindi's story is more credible. She calls Lucas who accompanies the girls to the hospital and to file a police report. Later, Jacqueline drives to Lucas' apartment since she did not get a chance to tell him that...
