Section 4: Chapter 5 & 6 Summary

When Jacqueline tells Erin and Maggie about Lucas in Chapter 5, they tease her about her interest in a bad boy and insist he should be her rebound guy. Nervous about initiating her man-snaring strategy as she enters class on Monday, Jacqueline watches as Lucas enters before her and looks at her newly-assigned seat and her old one. Following Erin's advice to make him chase her, Jacqueline acts indifferent as she asks Lucas his name, and then she avoids looking at him for the rest of class. At Starbucks, Erin comments on how much hotter Lucas' tattoos make him when he enters from a back room, and she is very excited when she realizes how intently he stares at Jacqueline.
