Chapters 6-12 Summary

Myron arrives home to find his mother agitated because he hadn't called after the shooting that had taken place at the US Open. After the two discuss the day, Myron retires to his room, only to have his mother tell him he has a visitor. Wanda, Duane's girlfriend, is worried about what is going on. Wanda tells Myron that Duane has not been acting like himself, and she wants Myron to keep an eye on him and make sure he is ok. Myron agrees to do his best.

Myron receives a phone call from his girlfriend, Jessica Culver, who is working in Greece. Myron tells her what has been going on and Jessica asks him his plans. Myron tells her that he will meet with Valerie's mother the following day and take it from there. Jessica questions what Myron's motives are...
