Summary

Isis soon notices that Grandma Potts has fallen asleep in her rocking chair. Isis notices long, curling hairs extended from Grandma Potts’s chin, and Isis feels pity. She says to herself that Grandma Potts needs a shave. Joel enters and says that he and Isis should go fishing. Isis tells Joel to be quiet and says that she has to shave Grandma Potts. She points out the hairs on Grandma Potts’s chin. She says that women are not supposed to have chin hairs and that grandma Potts apparently does not know how to shave. Joel says that Isis knows nothing about shaving and that he, as a male, should be the one to shave Grandma Potts. Isis vetoes this proposal, saying that she had the idea to shave Grandma Potts first. Isis retrieves her father’s shaving razor, and Joel retrieves lather...
