Saetan

The High Lord of Hell, Saetan was born in poverty, and made his way to the top through his hard work and talent. Others around him quickly forget this; for example, his ex-wife, Hekatah, is obsessed with bloodlines, even though Saetan is not from an old family (for example, one of the Hundred Families). Saetan has enormous power, as a male Black Widow. This is a power usually given only to women, and not to many of them. Moreover, he is black-jeweled, placing him at the top of the hierarchy for his powers. He was born with a red jewel for a birthright, but was given the black at his offering to the darkness.

Saetan is strongly protective of his family. His two sons are obviously important to him in "Zuulaman," when they are still quite young. Later on, his family grows; in later stories, he has not...
