Kaeleer's Heart - Chapters 1-5 Summary

"Kaeleer's Heart" is the story of Jaenelle and Daemon's recovery after Jaenelle drains her powers for the sake of her territories. The story opens with Daemon flashing back to the moment where Jaenelle got lost in the web, and wakes up remembering that she is still so delicate he cannot touch her. He tells himself that he simply has to remind her what he can offer, but is unsure that she still wants him. He then goes to buy her books, and to buy a bracelet for her; however, he is distracted by a strange woman, wearing an illusion spell, who closely watches him as he buys the bracelet, and even goes to examine it.
