The Prince of Ebon Rih - Chapters 21-24 Summary

In Chapter 21, Marian is preparing food when Luthvian arrives and tells Lucivar off for having banished Roxie. However, Marian makes him feel better later that evening, when she presents him with a "certificate for fussing." That evening, however, Luthvian broods about the purity of her bloodline. The next day, she comes to talk to Marian and casts a spell on her, which makes her feel as though she is not good enough for Lucivar (which, to some extent, Marian already thinks). Lucivar is surprised at Marian's no mood, and can't figure it out until Marian tells him why she is so upset - though she does not mention Luthvian.
